FAQ
- Some apps won’t show up in Launchpad again – even if I try to drop them on the Launchpad icon… What can I do?
Open the Terminal and type the following:sudo curl -o \ /System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app/Contents/Resources/LaunchPadLayout.plist \ http://chaosspace.de/download.php?id=LaunchPadLayout
Now when Launchpad-Control starts it will automatically insert the identifiers of hidden apps into this file to tell Launchpad to ignore them. If you don’t want that, please delete all files in
~/Library/Application Support/Dock/
(resets your database). Then restart Launchpad-Control (close System Preferences completely). Everything should be okay now.
- I want to uninstall Launchpad-Control. How do I do that?
Go into system preferences. Right click on “Launchpad” and choose “Remove Launchpad from the system preferences”. That’s it!
