I have installed the app, selected the programs I want in or out and click apply. But nothing happens, launch pad still has the original apps. In fact, even reorganising where apps are also makes no difference. Am I missing something?

How ’bout adding an option to have it auto-close a folder? For example, I have Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook in a folder called “MS Office 2011″. If I start Launchpad and open the “MS Office 2011″ then click on Word all seems fine. However, if I click on Launchpad again, it starts out in the “MS Office 2011″ folder. The iOS jailbreak community has a fix for this called “FolderCloser”. Would be nice to have this type of feature in Launchpad-Control

Installation issue

After install on a 2,5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MbP
and starting Launchpad-Control an error message popped up:
U kunt het voorkeurenpaneel ‘Launchpad-Control’ niet openen,
omdat het niet op een Intel-Mac kan worden gebruikt.

U cannot open the preference panel ‘Launchpad-Control’
while it cannot be used on an Intel-Mac

Can you create the ability to sort by usage? There is a jailbreak iOS that counts app launch statistics (appStat) and I think this would be a perfect solution for the Lanunchpad. I am willing to donate generously if you could implement this feature. Great work thus far sir

Wusstest du schon: Wenn man im Launchpad ctrl+alt+cmd+b drückt, kann man den Hintergrund in vier verschiedenen Einstellungen haben. Allerdings dauert das nur so lange, bis der PC heruntergefahren oder der Finder neu gestartet wird. Ist es vielleicht möglich, dass Launchpad-Control auch diese Einstellung speichert und beim nächsten PC-/Finderstart ebenfalls beibehält? Ich mag es nicht, dass das Launchpad meinen Desktop-Hintergrund immer so verschwommen anzeigt und das immer wieder zu ändern ist doch umständlich.

Love the program!

I tried the latest version 1.63, but reverted to 1.62 because I prefer my apps organized by pages.

Any way to prevent update message or maybe bring back as an option in 1.64 to “sort by page”?

Love this app. Would REALLY love to see someone add to it so that it auto-organized apps into folders based on some database of apps (i.e.: we all know Adobe products… so put them in a “Graphics” folder) — something like that. Any apps the program doesn’t recognize can (by choice) go into their own screen, own folder or just left out of any folders as-is.

Please help me! This program was great, until certain applications just stopped showing up in in launchpad, and in the launchpad control panel. I tried to do everything I could to uninstall it, but there are still a ton of apps that aren’t showing up in launchpad! Like launchpad control made everything permanent, and now I can’t get back to the way things used to be.
